The “Internet of Things” (IoT) has seen some amazing developments in recent months taking some tentative jumps into the mainstream with devices like Samsung's connected fridge. You may have seen the fridge highlighted in the debut commercials this spring starring Kristin Bell and Dax Shepard. 

 

This increasing number of smart "things" are creating new opportunities for technology to integrate into peoples’ lives. The potential to deliver innovative new services, solutions and improve user experiences with connected devices has been growing. This IoT revolution has been central to the disruption of healthcare, transportation, education, manufacturing and shipping industries - just to name a few.
